علق يورجن كلوب، المدير الفني لفريق ليفربول، على شراكة محمد صلاح وساديو ماني وروبرتو فيرمينو التي لم تعد موجودة، وكذلك الشراكة الجديد بوجود المصري وكذلك كودي جاكبو وداروين نونيز.

وقال كلوب في المؤتمر الصحفي الخاص بمباراة بورنموث غدًا في الدوري الإنجليزي: “أعتقد أن ساديو ماني وروبرتو فيرمينو ومحمد صلاح كانوا رائعين معًا، وكانوا ضمن الأفضل في العالم لفترة من الوقت”.

وأضاف: “ثم غادر ساديو في الصيف، وسنرى ما سيحدث لروبرتو فيرمينو في الصيف المقبل، ولم يتبق سوى محمد صلاح، لكننا استبدلناهم وتعاقدنا مع ديوجو جوتا في ذلك الوقت”.

وتابع: “هذا هو الاستثمار، وهو استثمار حكيم، هذا ما تريده وما نحتاجه وما يحتاجه الفريق، هذا الموسم كان اللاعبون أغلب الوقت مصابين، وهذا لم يساعدنا، لكن هذا ما يجب أن يتم وهذا ما سوف نفعله في المراكز الأخرى”.

وأكمل: “كانت هناك الكثير من التوقعات بشأن نونيز، على وجه الخصوص، بعد وصوله بمبلغ يقدر بـ85 مليون جنيه إسترليني، ولكن كودي جاكبو كان أقل من ذلك”.

The emphasis is on selecting, not necessarily the eleven best players but the ‘best eleven’. It is not dissimilar to asking whether we prefer a team of stars or a star team. His unbeaten 80 that took Sri Lanka to victory in the match and the series against Pakistan on Monday should silence his critics, Jayawardene said.”A lot of people ask about his role in the team and he justified his place,” he said. “I don’t know why this question keeps popping up. Angelo has done well with the ball and he has done well with the bat. Former Australia fast bowler Dennis Lillee has decided to end to his association with the MRF Pace Foundation in Chennai, citing his desire to “not travel anymore”. He will oversee two more training camps, before ending his 25-year association with the fast-bowling academy.”It wasn’t an easy call. But then, one of the main reasons behind this decision is that I don’t want to travel anymore,” Lillee was quoted as saying in the . “I have decided not to stay away from my family for lengthy periods.”During his time with the academy, Lillee had worked with several India players. “Zaheer [Khan], Javagal Srinath and Venkatesh Prasad would top the list,” Lillee said, talking about the bowlers who trained with him. “Munaf Patel, to me, has been a disappointment. He had the natural gift of speed but someone has obviously misguided him to drop pace. S Sreesanth, too, is a big let down, for the talent he showcased …”Lillee said he would have liked to work with the BCCI in some capacity. “Yes, I was a bit disappointed,” he said. “I like to do things my way and sometimes that frightens people.”

وواصل: “يمكنهم المخاطرة، لكن إذا لم يحصل على تدريب مناسب مع الفريق، فلن يلعب، يتعلق الأمر بكيفية استجابته للعلاج في الأيام القليلة المقبلة، إنه يحتاج إلى الكثير من الرعاية”.

وأردف: “كان ذلك مفاجئًا للغاية، لم أكن أعرف شيئًا (عن الإصابة)، اتصل بي وقال إنهم التقطوا بعض الصور ووجدوا شيئًا غير جيد”.

واختتم: “كان يود أن يلعب هاتين المباراتين الدوليتين، لكن يجب عليه إعطاء الأولوية لصحته، ومحاولة إعادة جسده إلى حالته، بناءً على الافتراضات، إنه بخير، لكنه حزين للغاية”.
