Assam put on a solid batting performance to take firm control of their match against Jharkhand in Dhanbad. After the pair was dismissed, the lower middle order built on the platform with cameos that took Hyderabad’s first-innings lead to 151, with four wickets in hand, at stumps.Some stout resistance from Jammu & Kashmir’s lower order pushed the side from an overnight 302 for 8 to 388, against Maharashtra in Ratnagiri. The boost was courtesy an 86-run stand from Nos. 9 and 10, Samiullah Beigh and Abid Nabi. Beigh made 69, the innings’ second-highest score, before becoming one of left-arm spinner Akshya Darekar’s five wickets. Maharashtra’s openers – Harshad Khadiwale and Chirag Khurana – were steady in reply, putting on a century stand. Khurana fell for 81, after putting on another steady partnership with Sangram Atitkar, who was unbeaten on 56 at stumps. Maharashtra finished on 204 for 2.Group A
Driven by an unbeaten century from No. 7 Amit Kumar and an all-round show from Rishi Dhawan, Himachal Pradesh took charge of their match against Services in Dharmasala. Himachal began day two on 262 for 6, and the overnight pairing of Amit and Dhawan put on a century stand to push the team towards the 350-run mark. That Services bowled 63 extras helped, and they finished with 364. Dhawan then came good with the ball, taking three wickets as Services slipped to 134 for 6.Twenty-one wickets tumbled on day two of the Kerala v Andhra match in Kochi. Kerala began the day on 110 for 6, but their Nos. 8 to 11 managed only two runs among them as the side folded for 130. Atchuta Rao was the pick of the Andhra bowlers, finishing with 6 for 43. Sony Cheruvathur bettered, however, bettered that effort, taking 6 for 25 to ensure Kerala took the first-innings’ lead. Andhra were shot out for 74 as none of their batsmen managed to get past 22. The wickets fest continued in Kerala’s second innings, as they slipped to 81 for 7 – a lead of 137 – with Syed Sahabuddin and Shankara Rao picking up three wickets apiece.Tripura looked on course to take the first-innings’ lead against Vidarbha, reducing them to 204 for 7 after making 281 in Agartala. Udit Patel went on to score a fifty for Tripura at No. 8, ensuring they finished with a competitive total. He eventually fell for 56 to Sandeep Singh, who was the pick of Vidarbha’s bowlers with 6 for 79. Tripura’s bowlers then struck at regular intervals, not allowing the visiting batsmen to build on starts – five of the top seven got into double figures without going past Shiv Sunder Das’ 45 – to give their side the edge going into the third day.

ويلتقي الأهلي والهلال على ملعب الأخير “الجوهرة الزرقاء” يوم، السبت المقبل 18 فبراير، في تمام الساعة الثالثة عصرًا بتوقيت “القاهرة” بقيادة الحكم الموريتاني الدولي، بيدا داهاني.

وأثار قرار كاف حفيظة المسئولين في نادي الهلال السوداني خلال الساعات القليلة الماضية خاصة وأن المباراة مهمة بالنسبة لهم بعد الخسارة في الجولة الأولى أمام صن داونز في جنوب إفريقيا بهدف نظيف.

وتواصل “btolat.com” مع المتحدث الإعلامي لنادي الهلال، هيثم السوباط، وقال: “مباراة من المفترض أنها بين ناديين كبيرين ويجب أن تقام في حضور الجماهير لأنهم العنصر المهم لنا في مثل تلك المباريات”.

وتابع: “الاتحاد الإفريقي سبق ووافق لنا على حضور السعة كاملة لأن الملعب مطابق للمواصفات في مباراتي الدور التمهيدي ودور الـ 32 من البطولة أمام سان جورج الإثيوبي ويانج أفريكانز التنزاني، ولكن عندما تضعنا القرعة مع الأهلي يتخذون هذا القرار”.

وأضاف: “المعروف هو أن الأهلي هو الابن المدلل للاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم، هذا ما فعلوه قبل أيام أيضًا من مباراة الموسم الماضي في دور المجموعات، فهم لم يفزوا علينا هنا في السودان مطلقًا ولهذا خرج هذا القرار المجحف”.

وواصل: “في الوقت الحالي ليس في يدينا أي شيء لنفعله، هناك قرار صادر من كاف وسنحترمه وستقام المباراة دون جماهير”.

وعن تجمهر مشجعي الهلال أمام الاتحاد السوداني اليوم: “هذا مجرد اعتراض من طرفهم، لمحاولة الضغط على الاتحاد السوداني بحضور الجماهير في المباريات المتبقية لنا في السودان بالمجموعات”.

Group AMedium-pacer Rituraj Singh, playing only his second first-class match, took 6 for 75 to bowl Rajasthan to victory by an innings and 56 runs against Orissa in Jaipur. The result significantly boosted the defending champions’ chances of making the quarter-finals for the second year in a row. Orissa began the day on 76 for 6 and, though Deepak Behera and Govind Podder extended their partnership to 69, once Pankaj Singh removed Behera for 27, the end came swiftly. Sumit Mathur picked up two more wickets to finish with 5 for 30 as Orissa were bundled out for 134 in their first innings. Hrishikesh Kanitkar, the Rajasthan captain, enforced the follow-on in the quest to register an innings victory, which could fetch the bonus point necessary to keep their knockout chances alive.It was not going to be a smooth journey, though. Subhrajit Sahoo, who made 55, and Biplap Samantray, with 82, offered resistance against Rajasthan’s three-pronged pace attack. Rituraj, however, had Samantray caught behind and two overs later removed Abhilash Mallick in similar fashion to start the slide. Orissa lost their last five wickets for only 27 runs.The win, Rajasthan’s second in two weeks, gave them six points – sixteen in total – and took them to third spot in the group. Even if Saurashtra, who had an exciting victory against Railways, had same number of outright victories and points as Rajasthan, the defending champions had a better run quotient (total runs against total wickets). Gujarat ended the day on 34 for 1, needing 267 more for victory.Having already conceded the first-innings lead, Haryana need an outright win to avoid being relegated to the Plate League next year. However, should they pull off the victory and Baroda finish second to Bengal, Haryana will also qualify for the quarter-finals. Rakesh Solanki battled to his half-century, but wickets fell consistently at the other end. Dinda picked up a third wicket when he bowled Pinal Shah for 10. Irfan Solanki was on 55 and Irfan Pathan on 4 at stumps.If Haryana beat Gujarat, Baroda will need a a draw to qualify for the quarter-finals.A defiant 98 from Zafar Ali could not prevent Tamil Nadu from taking a 197-run first-innings lead as Madhya Pradesh was dismissed for 289 in Chennai. Ali was the seventh wicket to fall, having faced 291 deliveries, but he received little support from the rest of the line-up. Jalaj Saxena made 43 but the next highest contributor was extras, with 38. Five bowlers shared the wickets, with Jangannathan Kaushik the pick of the bunch, taking 3 for 48 from 21 overs. Tamil Nadu then extended their lead to 227 by the close, but lost Abhinav Mukund and S Badrinath in the process, while M Vijay was forced to retire hurt. Dinesh Karthik, who made a century in the first innings, was unbeaten on 14.

Durante o evento, houve a invasão de diversos torcedores presentes em General Severiano à sede, que eram contra o adiantamento de parte das cotas de televisão, que teriam a função de quitar algumas dívidas que estavam atrasadas.

Por conta do episódio, o clube divulgou, em seu site e nas respectivas mídias sociais, uma nota de repúdio à ação dos torcedores, afirmando que a reunião não foi impedida de ser realizada e que tentará tomar medidas cabíveis aos autores da invasão.

Além dos lamentáveis atos de violência que colocaram em risco a segurança dos presentes, houve considerável prejuízo ao patrimônio do Clube com danos à estrutura histórica do Salão Nobre, o que é inadmissível.

O Conselho Diretor não se intimidou e não se intimidará com ações criminosas e gostaria de reafirmar que está sempre aberto ao diálogo construtivo com todos os botafoguenses que realmente queiram colaborar com o soerguimento do Clube, iniciado no final de 2014. Legspinner Usman Qadir, son of Abdul Qadir, picked up three wickets and South Africa were skittled out for 152.Opener Sami Aslam led Pakistan’s charge in the chase, making a patient, unbeaten 84. Things were a little tricky at 77 for 3, but Umar Waheed joined Aslam to guide Pakistan to victory in 40 overs. The two teams play the final in Paarl on January 22.
