أكد مهاجم الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي مانشستر سيتي، إيرلينج هالاند، بأنه سيرغب في الفوز ببطولة دوري أبطال أوروبا بعد مرور يومين فقط من التتويج بها على حساب إنتر ميلان.

Zimbabwe lifted themselves above Bangladesh’s international stature with the whopping 335-run win in the first Test in Harare. Brendan Taylor’s twin centuries and skillful swing and seam bowling finished off the game inside four days, as Zimbabwe took a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.The game ended when Kyle Jarvis took a magnificent catch at deep fine-leg to give Graeme Cremer his fourth wicket, that of Robiul Islam, to bowl out Bangladesh for just 147. Earlier in the day, Zimbabwe declared their second innings on 227 for 7, setting Bangladesh an improbable 483.Bangladesh, a long-time rival at the bottom of the world rankings, brings out the best in Zimbabwe, who came into this series on the back of five consecutive Test defeats. This time, Zimbabwe were far ahead mentally as they used their familiarity with the conditions in Harare to mighty effect. It was a crushing loss for the visitors who are at the backend of a much better season, and it will set them back a few steps as they head into the second Test in a must-win situation.Taylor made 171 and 102 not out in a Test match that, till date, has been his most prolific. He was almost a one-man show, especially in the second innings when one wrong shot from him could have given Bangladesh a sniff. Zimbabwe were 84 for 6 in the second innings, but Taylor took Graeme Cremer under his wing as they staved off a rampant Robiul Islam.He broke several records on the way too. He became the first Zimbabwe captain to have scored two hundreds in a Test and also has the highest score for a Zimbabwe captain. He also beat his previous best of 117 in the first innings, and added the highest score against Bangladesh under his belt.With the ball, Zimbabwe were led by the impressive Jarvis. It was a complete domination of the Bangladesh batsmen as he, Shingirai Masakadza and Keegan Meth kept the ball up and used excellent lines. Jarvis finished with figures of 7 for 115 in the match, doing justice to the hype around him. Masakadza took five wickets in the game while Meth kept one end quiet as the other two went about knocking the batsmen over.Cremer too played a useful hand with the bat, scoring 42 and 43. These were vital runs, as he added two big seventh-wicket partnerships with Taylor that frustrated Bangladesh greatly. He ended the game with four cheap wickets, capping off a fine all-round display.If Bangladesh’s first-innings collapse of 9 for 32 was bad enough, their second-innings showing was equally poor. Shahriar Nafees’ extra keenness at the start of Test innings cost him yet again. After scoring two consecutive boundaries, he created a big gap between bat and pad, played all over a full delivery from Jarvis and lost his off stump.After the lunch break, Ashraful hardly got out of his self-induced shell as he looked to drag the game for as long as possible. Mahmudullah at the other end went after the bowling, and soon enough, perished. Whether he had seen substitute Sean Williams stationed at deep square-leg cannot be a valid point for a batsman at this level of cricket, but his innocuous pull shot said much about his muddled mindset. His dismissal again triggered a collapse as Shakib Al Hasan and captain Mushfiqur Rahim fell soon after. Similar to the first innings, Shakib was caught at gully but this time he wasn’t fending. A prolonged appeal from the slips created enough pressure on the umpire Tony Hill.Mushfiqur was brilliantly caught at second slip by Taylor, who jumped to his right and grabbed it one-handed. The Bangladesh captain’s dismal Test was in far contrast to his opposite number.Mohammad Ashraful’s dim-witted run-out close to the tea break rounded off a forgettable session for the visitors. Cremer spun one past Ashraful’s bat and wicketkeeper Mutumbami’s gloves, but Taylor saved the ball at slip. Ben Rohrer, Ahmed Shehzad and Davy Jacobs have been drafted in to the Caribbean Premier League as replacements for Steve Smith, Shaun Marsh and Aaron Finch, after the Australian trio was unable to get no-objection certificates from Cricket Australia.Rohrer will replace his countryman Smith for Antigua Hawksbills, Pakistan opener Shehzad will step in for Marsh for Jamaica Tallawahs, and South African wicketkeeper Jacobs will be coming in for Finch for Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel.Rohrer, who scored 295 runs at a strike-rate of 152.09 in the 2012-13 edition of the Big Bash League, said that he was relishing the prospect of working with Hawksbills coach Viv Richards and Ricky Ponting, who is part of the squad.Shehzad was part of the Pakistan squad that won the 2009 World Twenty20 and reached the semi-finals of the 2011 World Cup. Tanvir, who is already in South Africa playing for the Lions franchise in the domestic Twenty20 competition, will have to juggle his participation in that event with any possible recall to the Pakistan squad.Tanvir met with the Pakistan management during the third ODI at the Wanderers on Sunday. ويلتقي الأهلي مع الترجي في الثامنة مساء اليوم الجمعة بتوقيت تونس، العاشرة بتوقيت القاهرة، على الملعب الأولمبي حمادي العقربي برادس، في ذهاب الدور نصف النهائي للمسابقة القارية.

وقال البدري في تصريحات تليفزيونية عبر قناة “إي تي سي”: “كل الكلام في تونس حاليًا على مواجهة الترجي أمام الأهلي، وأتمنى فوز الفريق الأحمر وتحقيق نتيجة إيجابية تساعده في الوصول للنهائي قبل لقاء الإياب في القاهرة”.

وأردف: “مواجهة الترجي والأهلي صعبة للغاية والفريقان لديهما خبرات كبيرة في إفريقيا، لكن قوام الأحمر وحالة الاستقرار تمنحه الأفضلية في لقاء الغد، والمباراة عبارة عن شوطين الأول في تونس والثاني في القاهرة، وبالتأكيد الجهاز الفني للمارد الأحمر يعلم حالة منافسه جيدًا ولكن كل مباراة لها ظروفها رغم تعثر الترجي مؤخرا في الدوري التونسي ومعاناته من بعض الغيابات”.

واستطرد: “الأهلي حصد البطولة في السنوات الأخيرة، كما وصل للنهائي ويمتلك لاعبين لديهم خبرات كبيرة وهو ما يمنحهم فرصة كبيرة من أجل الفوز، وبالتأكيد الجماهير المنافسة للترجي تتمنى صعود الأهلي للنهائي وهذه هي كرة القدم، لكن في النهاية الروح الرياضية هي التي تسود بين جميع الفرق”.

وأضاف: “مواجهة الأهلي والترجي ستكون صعبة وأعتقد أن الفريق التونسي سيظهر بشكل مغاير عما ظهر به في لقاءات الدوري مؤخرًا وسيعمل على تحقيق أفضل نتيجة وأتمنى أن يتعامل الأهلي بشكل جيد وهناك بعض التفاصيل الصغيرة هي التي سوف تحسم المباراة”.

وتطرق للحديث: “الترجي يعاني من بعض الظروف الصعبة ولو تم الضغط عليه مبكرا من جانب لاعبي الأهلي، سيؤدي إلى توتر لاعبيه بشكل واضح، كما أن عدم حضور الجماهير أمر سلبي بالنسبة لنبيل معلول ورفاقه بكل تأكيد”.

وتابع: “من عوامل قوة الترجي الكرات الثابتة والاختراق من على الأطراف، كما يضم لاعب مميز وهو محمد علي بن رمضان الذي يعتبر من أبرز اللاعبين وله دور كبير في الاختراق من العمق وبالتأكيد كولر قادر على التعامل مع المنافس جيدًا”.

وواصل: “هناك لاعبون جيدون في الترجي مثل أنيس البدري وبن حمودة وبن رمضان، لكن هناك نواقص أخرى في الترجي، وأحذر لاعبي الأهلي من الكرات الثابتة، خصوصًا أن الفريق التونسي يمتلك لاعبين طوال القامة قادرين على التعامل بشكل جيد مع هذه الألعاب”.

وأوضح: “لا أعرف الحالة البدنية للاعبي الأهلي في الفترة الأخيرة، لكن محمد عبدالمنعم وياسر إبراهيم ومحمود متولي لديهم خبرات كبيرة في خط الدفاع، وفي الغالب سيعتمد كولر على 3 لاعبين في الوسط وطريقة اللعب في النهاية سيحددها المدير الفني”.

واختتم: “التوقع في كرة القدم صعب وكل مباراة يكون لها ظروفها الخاصة، لكن أتمنى فوز الأهلي بكل تأكيد وصعوده لنهائي دوري أبطال إفريقيا”.

O zagueiro Paulo André fica por mais seis meses no Athlético Paranaense. Nesta quarta-feira, o clube de Curitiba anunciou a renovação de contrato com o zagueiro de 35 anos, que cogitou em se aposentar no final do ano passado. Contudo, preferiu estender vínculo com o futebol.

– Mais um pouquinho no clube tentando contribuir dentro de campo, principalmente esse momento de passar o bastão para os mais jovens. Vou fazer essa transição por mais seis meses, ajudar como eu puder, e na sequência eles vão ter que tocar e levar ao Athletico a conquista dos títulos – disse Paulo André, em entrevista ao site oficial do Athletico.

No ano passado, Paulo André disputou 23 jogos, mas teve dificuldades. Ele enfrentou contusões, porém considerou a temporada como uma das melhores na carreira.

-Acredito que o ano passado foi um dos meus melhores anos. Quando estive em campo, joguei bem, me diverti mais do que jogar bem. Essa questão fez toda a diferença para esticar mais seis meses e curtir esse momento, aproveitar, e depois dar sequência em outras funções no clube – completou.

Nesta temporada, Paulo André participará de uma das competições mais disputadas. O primeiro jogo da Libertadores, contra o Tolima, está confirmado para 5 de março, uma terça-feira, na Colômbia.

Former Australia captain Greg Chappell has rated MS Dhoni’s double-century in Chennai as his best in Tests. Dhoni’s knock of 224 tilted the scales in India’s favour, according to Chappell, and helped them to a 1-0 lead in the four-match series against Australia.”He has played several memorable knocks in one-day cricket, but this was the best I have seen him play in Test matches,” Chappell told .”I have seen him smack a yorker-length delivery from James Anderson for a six. Had he scored just 124, the match would still have been in the balance. The manner in which he attacked a tiring Australian attack, shielding the tailenders, truly makes him a match-winner.”This was India’s seventh win in the last 21 Tests, five of which have come against West Indies and New Zealand. India lost eight consecutive overseas Tests, and conceded a series at home to England for the first time in 28 years.
